- מַשְׁמָש
- מַשְׁמָשm. (preced. wds.; cap. מַמָּש) substance. Y.Ber.III, 6d bot. מַשְׁמָשָׁהּ קיים its substance remains visible; מים אין מַשְׁמָשָׁן קיים (not משמשה, ed. Lehm. משמוש׳) of liquids there is no substance left (when the spot is dried up).
